Together we’ve supported local classroom projects that provide books, games, snacks, and sports equipment to over 2,000 schools nationwide.
POWER partnered with Donorschoose, an education nonprofit that helps to fund public school teacher’s requests for school supplies- whether they be books, markers, science kits, sports equipment, or snacks. By giving teachers the tools they need, we are helping to foster potential around us.
Once a year, we put the power into the hands of our people by allocating each employee $150 and asking them to choose what type of school supplies they would like to provide a local classroom.
As a result, in 2025 POWER donated a grand total of $591,150 dollars in one day, and POWER employees’ donations funded over 1,600 projects, and supported over 1,000 schools across our local communities. Read more about our impact on our Partner page by clicking here.
In 2025, POWER’s HQ employees voted to support the refresh of Chester Upland High School’s library. POWER provided the school with $80,000 for this refresh, and over 50 POWER employees donated their time and labor to clear out the library in preparation for its ribbon cutting ceremony. In 2026, POWER plans to expand its “Adopt-a-School” efforts to reach 4 schools in need.
