We are Mi Gente—a community that honors the many diasporas of Latin culture while rising together toward a united future. Our logo, the chameleon, represents our unique ability to adapt and blend into different spaces while carrying forward the strength of our roots, the beauty of our traditions, and the pride of our cultures. Mi Gente is a place to connect, uplift, and thrive—grounded in legacy, growing with purpose, and flourishing as one.
Our MI GENTE connect room is where community truly comes alive. Its a space that feels like a family group chat, full of energy, laughter, and heart. It’s where fun conversations flow alongside cultural gems, where we trade stories, share facts, and pass on knowledge that connect us back to our roots. In this space, we celebrate each other, lift each other up in our roles, and keep the spirit of MI GENTE strong. It’s more than a chat—it’s a living circle of voices, encouragement, and pride.

“Being part of Mi Gente has truly been one of the most rewarding experiences during my time at Power. It’s given me a space where I feel seen, connected, and proud of who I am. Attending the Mi Gente Belonging events has helped me build a network of inspiring, driven individuals across the company who motivate me to keep growing. These experiences have truly made Power feel like a place where I belong.”

“Being part of Mi Gente has been an incredible experience. From day one, I’ve felt a true sense of belonging and community. It’s helped me build lifelong friendships and reconnect with the parts of my Mexican heritage that make me who I am. Professionally, it’s given me a platform to use my bilingual skills to connect with our install partners and homeowners in meaningful ways. And it’s inspired me to lead by example—to show that with hard work, pride, and authenticity, success is possible for anyone at Power, no matter where they come from.”
Sergio Alfaro Siles
Project Production Manager, Philadelphia
“I remember when I first joined Mi Gente, it was at a time that I didn’t really feel much latino representation within my local territory – being a part of Mi Gente gave me a sense of belonging. Joining the Mi Gente event in NJ/NYC made me feel so much more connected with the company. I learned so much about other territories and made want to continue working for Power. Coming home from the trip I felt like I was leaving my family behind because of the bonds that we formed. I’m incredibly grateful!”
We’re Better Together
Mi Gente is more than a strong virtual community. When we come together in person, our energy, connection, and culture come to life in ways that screens can’t replace. Every deep conversation, every laugh, every shared story strengthens who we are and reminds us of the power we have when we show up for one another. Take a look at some of our previous events to learn more about how we build our beautiful community.

The Impact We’re Creating Together
Mi Gente has partnered with the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), the nation’s oldest and largest Hispanic organization, who champions the advancement of Hispanic communities through education, civil rights, health, and economic opportunity.
This years theme for Mi Gente is“Rediscovering Your Roots to Strengthen Your Future” one that also aligns deeply with LULAC’s work. Like them, we believe that by honoring our heritage and investing in our communities, we build a stronger, more resilient future for ourselves and the generations that follow.
