Beth Mowery,
Vice President of Customer Support

“Supporting Team Foster has been one of the most meaningful ways I’ve been able to give back. I’ve always admired the strength and sacrifice of our veteran community, and seeing the life-changing impact service dogs have on veterans inspired me to nominate this organization. What makes it even more special is knowing I could help secure funding through Power and then actively support the mission myself – from riding over 100 miles in their signature event to now serving on their Board of Directors. Being part of both the grant process and the hands-on work reminds me how powerful it is when we combine resources with real action in our own community.”

Valor Service Dogs

“Receiving this grant through POWER for Good was an incredible honor, and I’m so grateful for how simple the process was. It gave me the opportunity to give back to a nonprofit doing life changing work for veterans. As a Marine Corps veteran, being able to support those who’ve sacrificed so much truly means the world to me. It feels full circle to serve again in a new way by helping veterans regain independence and companionship through this donation.”

Cuisine For Healing

“Receiving this grant for a cause so close to my heart was incredibly meaningful – it allowed me to honor my mom’s memory by providing medical-tailored meals to people suffering with cancer. It showed me how powerful it can be to use our voice and resources to support our community.”

Chris Popa,
Learning and Development Manager

“Being able to nominate a nonprofit I believe in made me even more proud to work here. Knowing my voice helped support veterans and children with disabilities experience the outdoors in an adaptive way was incredibly meaningful. Seeing the impact firsthand, including helping unveil the new UTV, gave me a deep sense of fulfillment and reinforced how powerful it is when we stand behind causes that matter to us.”

Meghan Hill,
People Support Manager

“Being able to nominate a nonprofit that supports women recovering from mastectomies was incredibly meaningful. Breast cancer has touched my family for generations, so seeing this organization, which provides specialized hoodies that bring comfort and dignity to women after surgery – receive its largest donation ever filled me with pride. When I saw their logo at Summit and stood as the nominator, I felt honored to play even a small role in supporting so many women during such a vulnerable time.”
